City girl Sam Avery flies to the Yukon Territory and hires guide and outfitter Hunter Gray to help her find her missing brother and a lost gold mine. This entertaining story has it all – a treasure map, villains, mystery and romance. I mean, who wouldn’t want to make love in an isolated mountain cabin with a hero named Hunter who has a wolf! This is Book 1 of the series but can be read as a standalone. I look forward to reading the rest of the series by this talented Canadian author!

Tuesday’s Child is part of the Heroines Born on Different Days of the Week series and can be read as a stand alone novel.
Destitute after the death of her husband, Lady Harriet Castleton relies on the charity of her father in law, the unscrupulous Earl of Pennington to provide a home for her and her young son Arthur. However, the situation is far from ideal as it has put Arthur, the future Earl, in danger. As a younger son, Dominic Markham pursued a life in the clergy never dreaming one day circumstances would change and he would become the next Earl of Faucon. Now he is expected to marry and produce heirs. Harriet and Dominic are attracted to one another and although a union between them would solve both their woes, they realize it would be impossible as she is not of his station. Harriet and Dominic are delightful characters and this well written story has it all, including suspense, romance and an unexpected twist at the end. Once again, Ms. Morris has written an entertaining story that perfectly captures the essence of the Regency era and I recommend it for fans of Regency romance. If this sounds like something you'd love to read, you can find it on your favourite online store HERE. Happy reading! This is the fourth and final book in the Moon Rising series and I read it as a stand alone. Three sisters and three brothers reunite to embark on a quest to restore justice, healing and change to the land of Incal. Each of the six have magical powers, whether as a Seer, Healer or Warrior. Ms. Walters has built a fabulous world filled with enchanted creatures, mystic places and sorcery. I admire her imagination. It’s not my usual genre but I enjoyed the story and the characters and would recommend it for readers of fantasy.

Lady Beatrice’s father dies and she is left with an estate she has no idea how to run. Mac, an American captain, agrees to teach her what she needs to know. The main characters are interesting and nicely portrayed and I enjoyed the two children. The story dragged a bit in the middle but all in all, a nice read with a satisfactory HEA.
All a Woman Wants – Patricia Rice This is the follow up book to Yvonne, Lady of Cassio and can be read as a stand alone novel. Grace, Yvonne’s daughter, is a strong heroine who faces family secrets, murder, and the death of loved ones. Her second sight places her in danger of being accused of witchcraft and, on the advice of her mother, she hides that secret to protect herself. Grace accepts her marriage to Jocelyn, a man she doesn’t know as she understands it’s a political union – the best she can hope for is that one day she and her husband will grow to love each other. To complicate matters, Grace must contend with Avice, her vindictive sister in law who resents that Grace took her place as lady of the manor.
This is a superb depiction of the life of a noblewoman in 14th century England. I loved the historical accuracy and the hints of suspense and brisk pacing kept me turning the pages. Fans of medieval romantic fiction will enjoy Grace and Jocelyn’s story. You can find Grace, Lady of Cassio and all of Rosemary Morris' books HERE. It’s Christmas Eve and Faith is contemplating ending her marriage to Noel. A wise cracking Christmas sprite appears and aids Faith in making her decision - will she or won't she go through with it? This well crafted and clever Christmas novella will keep you turning the pages.

She’s long admired Viscount Langley, her brother in law’s dear friend however army officer Marcus Dalrymple also stirs emotions within her. Who shall she choose? Helen’s character is well developed and charming and I particularly liked that she was no simpering miss but a talented artist in her own right. Monday’s Child is set in Belgium in the days and weeks prior to Napoleon’s invasion which makes for an intriguing setting. Ms. Morris, as usual, has captured the essence of the Regency era; her descriptions make the reader feel as if they are there. I highly recommend this book to fans of Regency romance.

After turning down a proposal of marriage from the Earl of Pennington, a man old enough to be her grandfather, Georgianne Whitley instead agrees to wed Major Tarrant, an officer recently returned from the continent. Despite that, the Earl is not dissuaded and poses a threat to Georgianne and her sisters. Georgianne is a strong, take charge heroine who can ride, shoot a pistol and handle the reins of a phaeton as well as any man, and Major Tarrant is dashing, compassionate and considerate. Together they make a formidable couple. This entertaining book is well written and easy to read and has it all, from kidnappings to glittering ballroom scenes. Sure to be enjoyed by readers of Regency romance of all ages, particularly those who will appreciate Ms. Morris’ grasp of all things Regency. Interested? You can find it for purchase HERE. Ms. Duke’s rich prose brings bygone eras to life and the author did a wonderful job of portraying each episode of time travel.
